Elizabeth Edwards' memoir, Resilience, to be published May 12, will likely address her husband's affair. Former presidential hopeful John Edwards publicly admitted his affair with video producer Rielle Hunter, though he denies fathering her 6-month-old child.

Broadway Books publicist David Drake declined to discuss details of the book but said it would serve as a sort of sequel to her previous memoir, Saving Graces (2006), which mostly focused on the death of her son Wade in 1996 and her battle with breast cancer.

"She has always been a kind of candid and honest writer," he said. "And people can expect that of her in her new book."

I admire your courage and commend you for being able to stay strong for your family. My grandmother always told me people reap what they sow, and that is not on you. Your conscious is clear.
You are a surviver and I wish you the best. Stay strong and focus on yourself and your children and pray for your husband.

Nearly 20 years ago I lost by beautiful son, Matt, to diabetes. He was 19 years old when he fell into coma, and 22 years old when his body succumbed. Reading Resilience was a very emotional experience; I wish I could have been as eloquent as Elizabeth Edwards expressing my feelings of loss. What a beautiful book. I'll be sure to read this many times over!
