Blagojevich's not-so-kind words to Illinois voters: (Bleep) all of you

After five weeks of salty, f-bomb-laden secret recordings, prosecutors played a gem: Rod Blagojevich's take on Illinois voters.
"F--- all of you."
The revelations came through a secret recording and the testimony of Robert Greenlee, the Yale-educated former deputy governor under Blagojevich who testified that he was often dispatched to research job possibilities for Rod and Patti Blagojevich.
The morning of Election Day, Rod Blagojevich goes on a rant to Greenlee, referencing his 13 percent approval rating.
"I f------ busted my a-- and pissed people off and gave your grandmother a free f------ ride on a bus. OK? I gave your f------ baby a chance to have health care," Blagojevich is heard saying on tape. "And what do I get for that? Only 13 percent of you all out there think I'm doing a good job. So f--- all of you."

"Aramanda said when he got the first check, Rezko asked him to divert $50,000 of it to the sister of one of Rezko’s business associates. Aramanda said Rezko claimed to owe the associate money and this was a way of satisfying that debt."

Natasha; I cut out the attached from the Tribunes blog...I can't find the check they are refering to in the prosecution evidence...Did they file the $50,000 check from Aramanda to Rezko's business partners sister??? Who was the partner? Who was the sister?

Well Rod let me tell you something i didn't vote for you and i'm glad i didn't. my grandkids are on your great health insurance program which you so proudly tell everyone that you give health insurance to all kids in illinois well my kids bills are into collections because your wonderful state of illinois don't pay anyone and the doctors don't even accept the medical card anymore because they don't get paid either. so F*** You too and your greed ball wife i see you going to jail, your wife divorcing you and then her running back home to daddy because you couldn't take care of your family just like the rest of us in illinois. Have fun with Ryan in jail a**hole.

One thing I know: he's gotta be one of the most foul-mouthed (ex)-politicians I've ever seen. I bet he'd even call his own mother a b---h if he didn't get his favorite toy for Christmas. This poor schmoe doesn't have a friend left in the world (most of them have testified against him and that one coward Chris Kelly voluntarily excused himself from the gene pool). And the worst thing is, he STILL maintains that he's innocent and that he's itching to tell the real truth. Hopefully he learns from the Jon Burge case not to perjure himself.

"I gave your grandmother a free (bleeping) ride on a bus" -- even though she never asked for it, and in many locations, could already ride for half price. That was part of an amendatory veto you inserted into a Chicago transit bailout bill, if I remember correctly.

"I gave your (bleeping) baby a chance to have health care" -- but you never bothered to consider how it would be paid for, and it got to the point where hardly any doctor or dentist would accept your bleepin' healthcare program because YOU WEREN'T PAYING THE BILLS! I know because my "baby" was on your bleepin' healthcare program for a couple of years while you were governor, and I could hardly wait to get her OFF of that program, for the reasons described above.

"Only 13 percent of you out there think I'm doing a good job, so (bleep) all of you."
Thanks, sir, I would consider it an honor to be the target of one of your f-bombs.

If you worked with 100 people, and 87 of them said they didn't like you or the job you were doing - how could you find your 13 friends?
You'd probably feel under seige most of the time, like hiding, like watching your back after every move. After a while, that wears you down - and you just might think - or say - f--- 'em all! Think about it.

I agree that these are disturbing comments. They seem to be the response of someone who feels they are entitled to wield power, not one who feels privileged to hold the position citizens have given him. Politicians, regardless of party, who have this kind of attitude neither deserve the job nor the trust of the citizens who elect these officials. Sadly, I feel there are far too many politicians who feel we as citizens are there to serve them, and not the other way around.

It is disturbing to see and hear these comments. We elect officials to serve, and serve he did-for himself. From the day he took office this man became a state paid pimp with no regard for the people or state of illinois. Every decision, request, came with a price tag. It is no wonder people have no trust for elected officials. It will be a long time before I feel any elected official is credible.
