DALLAS -- Blackhawks forwards Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp both laughed when former teammate Adam Burish's latest antics were brought up.

To them, Burish's decision to toss Winnipeg Jets forward Tanner Glass' glove into the stands is just Burish being Burish. Nothing has changed since he's joined the Dallas Stars.

"I've got a lot of gloves, so I don't have to worry about that," Kane said before the Hawks faced the Stars at American Airlines Center on Friday. "That's Burish to a tee right there. He's always looking to entertain and do something like that. It's pretty funny. Some guys around the league would kind of be like, 'Why would he do that?' But you play with Burish for a couple years, you just laugh at it."

Dallas Stars agitator Adam Burish was very close with Hawks winger Patrick Kane when he played in Chicago. The two hung out at home and on the road, and they sill exchange texts and talk often.

So it shouldn't be a surprise that Burish, a fan favorite and media go-to guy when he was with the Hawks, will defend his former teammate.

The Blackhawks just won the Stanley Cup. The team is celebrating on the ice of the Wachovia Center. Adam Burish didn't play in Game 6 of the finals, but came out to celebrate in his full gear ... and then he was asked about Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger.

Remember that?

You know...those "I think Chris Pronger is the biggest idiot in the league" comments. Well, Burish has apologized.

"He'll be flying tonight," Kane said.
