Defenseman Brent Seabrook is day-to-day with a leg injury after leaving Sunday's win against the Oilers after losing an edge while on the offensive attack and falling awkwardly into the end boards.
Seabrook appeared to be favoring his left leg as he came off the ice. His injury comes at a bad time with Dave Bolland already recovering from a foot injury and a six-game road trip about to begin.
Seabrook was re-examined Monday, but the Hawks were off and didn't meet the media. However, Seabrook did travel with the Hawks on Monday to Vancouver, where they begin their annual circus trip against the rival Canucks.
Here's a video of the play (courtesy of CSN):
Seabrook, one of the Hawks' toughest and most physical players, was just starting to get going offensively, with a goal, two assists and a plus-4 rating in the last three games.
