ANAHEIM, Calif. -- A few days ago, things looked good for defenseman Brent Seabrook. He was back practicing with the Blackhawks after sitting out three games with a leg injury and afterward said he was "feeling good."
But Seabrook's absence at the Hawks' morning skate in San Jose on Wednesday and during practice in Anaheim on Thursday suggests otherwise.
"He's possible for [Friday's game against the Ducks]," coach Joel Quenneville said. "I know I said that the last couple of games, but we still keep thinking that hopefully we'll get him in some time on this trip."
Seabrook was injured last Sunday when he fell awkwardly into the boards against the Oilers at the United Center.
Center Dave Bolland, who recently returned to the lineup after injuring his foot, sat out practice in Anaheim. Bolland, though, will play against the Ducks. He also missed the morning skate Wednesday before playing against the Sharks.
