Update on Patrick Kane

Patrick Kane is going to be out for a bit, but his injury is not that serious. In other words, it could have been worse.

Replays showed that Kane's left skate appeared to be stuck against the boards when Flames defenseman Cory Sarich struck.

Here's what coach Joel Quenneville said about Kane's injury:

"[Kane] is probably going to be out for a little bit. ... He's doing OK right now. We'll know more [Monday] exactly where we are at with him. I say 'a bit.' It's tough. We can speculate [how long he's going to be out]. I don't want to go into it right now, but it's not real serious. I'll go to that
