ST. LOUIS -- Jonathan Toews left Tuesday's game against the Blues with what is officially being called an upper-body injury.
But it looks like a right shoulder injury.
Toews was checked into the boards by Blues winger Matt D'Agostini late in the first period. The Hawks captain appeared to be favoring his right shoulder after the hit.
Toews skated slowly to the bench, where he sat for a few minutes before leaving for the Hawks locker room. He only played 5:51 and he missed the final 6:47 of the first period.
