If the Blackhawks don't recall a forward from the Rockford IceHogs by Wednesday night's game against the New Jersey Devils, defensemen Jordan Hendry and John Scott will both play wing on the fourth line.
Bryan Bickell is back in the lineup after being a healthy scratch the last two games. Center Jake Dowell moves up to the third line. Nick Boynton returns on the blue line after sitting out the loss to the New York Rangers Monday.
Here's the Hawks' projected lines:
Brouwer -- Toews -- Kane
Stalberg -- Sharp -- Kopecky
Bickell -- Dowell -- Skille
Scott -- Pisani -- Hendry
Here's the projected defensive pairings:
Keith -- Seabrook
Hjalmarsson -- Campbell
Cullimore -- Boynton

Wow.. I thought Ben Smith looked good in the last game. Good skater who seemed to be winning alot of battles in the corner. Was surprised to see him go back to Rockford. He was very good in the pre-season too. Could be a long year if the injury bug does not go away. This team looks a little lost at the moment. Toews looks frustrated as does Kane. Could be one and done come playoff time, but that ok. Salary cap killed us in terms of depth on the 3/4 lines, but these kids will have a year under the belt. Price of winning the cup... I will take it. The core is still there and very young..
