The bad news just keeps on coming for the Blackhawks. The latest? Patrick Kane is sick and doubtful for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets in Columbus.
Hawks coach Joel Quenneville said Kane will not travel with the team Thursday to Columbus. Quenneville did not rule out the possibility that Kane will travel apart from the team on Friday. Kane missed practice on Thursday.
"Kane is sick and doubtful for [Thursday] night," Quenneville said.
If Kane doesn't play, Quenneville said the Hawks will re-call a player from the Rockford IceHogs. Kane has two goals, an assist and a team-worst minus-5 rating after four games.

In other news, Quenneville made it clear that Marty Turco is the Hawks' No. 1 goaltender Thursday after practice.
Turco sat out the past two games, but will start Friday against the Blue Jackets.
"Our goaltending, we're happy with it," Quenneville said. "Marty's fine. Marty is No. 1."
