Joel Quenneville switches up the Blackhawks lines

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Here are the Blackhawks lines from Tuesday's practice at the United Center:

Patrick Sharp --- Jonathan Toews --- Jack Skille

Troy Brouwer -- Tomas Kopecky --- Marian Hossa

Viktor Stalberg -- Dave Bolland --- Patrick Kane

Bryan Bickell --- Jake Dowell -- Fernando Pisani

Here's what Quenneville had to say about playing Sharp at wing and Kopecky at center:

"It's something to try. Sharp last year was something where he was good on the wing and worked well with [Toews]. He did a real good job at center. I still think we have that luxury of putting him at center at anytime. [Kopecky] has played some center. That pair with him and Hossa has been effective in a lot of ways. We've got a couple of guys on each line that can give us some scoring and work well together. That's what we're looking for and we'll see how it works."

Quenneville on using Skille on the first line:

"We've tried different things. They've earned a chance with their quickness and their speed to give us some versatility. Let's see how that goes. We're looking for predictability at the end of the day and consistency. That's what we're looking for. Jack has the ability to be a top guy."
