RALEIGH, N.C. -- And I thought this trip was a chance to a get away from winter for a few days. A snow storm has descended on Raleigh and there is about eight inches of snow on the ground.
Anyways, here are some updates for tonight's game vs. the Carolina Hurricanes:
* Cristobal Huet will start his third consecutive game in net tonight. He is coming off a solid win against the San Jose Sharks in which he turned away 34 shots.
* The Hawks didn't have a morning skate on Saturday, but they did have a team stretch.
* Hawks coach Joel Quenneville did not have any injuries or scratches to report. Expect the same lineup from the San Jose game.
* Quenneville called tonight's game "a real test and challenge." It's the last game of the Hawks' season-long eight-game road trip. They are 5-2 on the trip and are coming off a big win against the Sharks, but also a cross-country flight.
