Lance Louis, the team's top-rated offensive lineman last season, is set to visit another NFL club, according to a league source.

An unrestricted free agent, Louis started 11 games last season and 28 total in four seasons with the Bears. The former seventh-round pick has steadily improved, but he was lost for the season when Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen blindsided him on an interception return by cornerback Antoine Winfield.

Louis, 27, is recovering from a torn ACL.

Don't see how they could let this guy go. Their line has been absolutely lousy, and Louis was the only good player on it last season. Unless his injury has ruined him or he's being totally unreasonable about salary, they've got to figure out how to keep him.
