The Bears on Monday announced the signing of former Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback LeQuan Lewis.

Undrafted last year out of Arizona State, Lewis has bounced around the league but appeared in three games for the Cowboys then five games for the Bucs. He finished with five tackles and one interception and one pass defense. Lewis_LeQuan.jpg

Lewis, who is 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, also added five kickoff returns for 106 yards (21.2 average).

Lewis, 23, is a Los Angeles native.

The Bears are solid at the starting spot with Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman. But they need depth, especially with the future of D.J. Moore up in the air.
