Bears' stars Tillman, Briggs return to practice

In another sign that the ankle injuries of Bears cornerback Charles Tillman and linebacker Lance Briggs aren't serious, both took part in practice -- albeit on a limited basis -- on Thursday.

Tillman and Briggs sat out Wednesday's session, but could be seen in the Bears' locker room walking and jogging around without any noticeable signs of injury.

Briggs also met the media on Thursday, saying he plans on playing Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

"I feel good," said Briggs, who didn't finish the game Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings and left the locker room afterward in a walking boot as a precaution. "[I'm] getting better everyday -- modern medicine."

Tight end Kellen Davis (ankle) also returned to practice after taking a day off. Running back Matt Forte (ankle) practiced on a limited basis for the second day in a row.

"They made a lot of progress," coach Lovie Smith said.

Meanwhile, kick returner/receiver Devin Hester (concussion) didn't practice, while Chris Spencer (sprained left knee) also sat out. Both have been ruled out for the game Sunday.

"Hester is getting better," Smith said. "[It will] be awhile still."

More good news. With the Bears in decent shape regarding injuries to key players, they are very tough to beat if they come to play. Revenge against the Seahawks beccause of their past performances against them should be a motivating factor. Still, sometimes the Bears seem to start out flat and take too much time to get into the game. Let's hope the coaches and the team leaders can fire them up from the starting kickoff
