Bears rookie Alshon Jeffery's much anticipated return from a broken hand didn't last long. Jeffery played against the San Francisco 49ers but left the game with a knee injury.
According to a source, Jeffery will undergo a scope Wednesday and the hope is he'll be sidelined two to four weeks. The extent of the injury was "minor," the source said. ![]()
Jeffery missed four games with a broken bone in his hand. He returned against the 49ers with two catches for 15 yards on the season, the second-round pick has 16 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns.

I tell you..it's good this guy can catch the rock because he would be a horrible doctor based on his comments after Jacksonville and sf with respect to his own injuries... Hopefully he gets back soon because he is needed and actually looks like a good draft pick...
Probably a meniscus tear. He'll be back quickly, but it sure is a shame to see him miss so much time.
