Bears coach Lovie Smith didn't provide much information on rookie receiver Alshon Jeffrey, who suffered the injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday.
Jeffrey, who scored a 10-yard touchdown, didn't finish the game and had his right hand heavily wrapped.
"We're continuing to evaluate it, to see exactly where he is," Smith said of Jeffrey. ![]()
Meanwhile, Smith seemed more optimistic about Earl Bennett and Evan Rodriguez. Both players were inacive the last two games.
"Earl Bennett, Evan Rodriguez, guys like that should be good to go next time we play," Smith said.
With a bye this weekend, the Bears next play Monday Oct. 22 against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field.
