Bears running back Matt Forte is active for tonight's game against the Dallas Cowboys. But, the home team will be missing one of its key defensive players, strongside linebacker Anthony Spencer.

For the season, he has 21 tackles and two sacks.

For the Bears, the inactives are: rookie fullback Evan Rodriguez, guard Edwin Williams, offensive tackle Chris Williams, defensive tackle Matt Toeaina, receiver Earl Bennett, defensive end Cheta Ozougwu and defensive tackle Nate Collins.

Bennett will be replaced by Dane Sanzenbacher, who is active for the first time this season.

Forte apparently impressed coaches and trainers enough in pre-game warm ups. He missed the Bears victory over the St. Louis Rams with an ankle injury.
