Alshon Jeffery.jpgInjured wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, cornerback Sherrick McManis and defensive tackle Matt Toeaina headed the Bears' inactive list for Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field.

Jeffery suffered a broken hand against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 7 and could miss 4-6 weeks. Dane Sanzenbacher is active in his place. Earl Bennett, who missed the previous two games with a hand injury, is active against the Lions.

McManis, a key special teams contributor, is out with a hip injury. Newly acquired former Bear Zack Bowman is active and figures to play on special teams against the Lions.

Toeaina started the season opener against the Colts but was inactive the following three games. He was active against Jacksonville, as the Bears wanted an extra defensive lineman available in the near-90-degree heat in Jacksvonville.

The other inactive players are guard/center Edwin Williams, tight end Brody Eldridge, defensive tackle Nate Collins and defensive end Cheta Ozougwu.
