The Bears will be without three starters against the New Orleans Saints today at the Superdome: safety Chris Harris (hamstring), wide receiver Roy Williams (groin) and right guard Lance Louis (ankle). All three were injured in the Bears' 30-12 victory over the Falcons last week at Soldier Field.
Running back Marion Barber (calf), defensive end Corey Wootton (knee), rookie defensive tackle Stephen Paea and quarterback Nathan Enderle also will be inactive today.
Johnny Knox will start for Williams at split end. But the Bears have not announced replacements for Harris and Louis. Brandon Meriweather is expected to start at safety, perhaps at free safety, with Major Wright replacing Harris at strong safety.
Edwin Williams is listed as the backup to Lance Louis on the Bears' depth chart. Williams and Chris Spencer split practice reps, at least early in the week, to determine who would replace Louis against the Saints.
Wide receiver Sam Hurd, rookie defensive end Mario Addison and Edwin Williams are active for the first time this season.
