| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

Tight end Kellen Davis (weak back), linebacker Lance Briggs (knee bruise) and wide receiver Sam Hurd will not play in Saturday night's exhibition game against the Tennessee Titans at LP Field. The other inactive players are running back Harvey Unga (personal reasons), defensive tackle Anthony Adams (calf) and defensive end Corey Wootton (knee).

Matt Spaeth will start at tight end in place of Davis. Brian Iwuh will start for Briggs, as he did last week.

The Bears also announced at cornerback Mike Holmes was waived/injured.

The Titans' inactives include wide receiver Kenny Britt (hamstring), defensive end Jason Jones (knee sprain), running back Chris Johnson (contract holdout) and backup running back Javon Ringer (hip).

The Bears still have only one reciever Earl Bennett. Hester is inconsistent at best Knox is a horrible route runner and Roy Williams well he is who we thought he was.. The ball that was knocked away from him he clearly rounded off the route giving the Db a play on the ball, a good route would have been a catch. Why is everyone so high on Hanie that int was a horrible pass. John Asaista whiffed on a block on the screen and Bell was smashed, And Frank Oh-my god is a turnstile. Carimini is not far off Webb needs to work more on foot work, Louis has a hard time with small quick DL's Williams is getting better. Spencer is an expensive back up. Zack Bowman is terrible he covers and hits like a girl if we can't cover Titan recievers GreenBay is going to eat them alive.. Hope we can find some help on the pass rush it's non-existent right now.
