Report: Cannon has lymphoma

Citing a league source, ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that TCU offensive lineman Marcus Cannon has been treated for treatable non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Some have predicted that Cannon might be someone the Bears would be interested in to help their offensive line. Although he played tackle at TCU, some scouts believe he projects as a guard in the NFL.

The news of his condition breaking two days before the draft will likely hurt his draft stock, although PFT reports that he should complete chemotherapy within 12-24 weeks.

Poor kid, chemo is hell and at his age. Well they said they wanted him to lose weight.

Will his draft stock drop, I am gonna say yeah... it will drop alot.

I don't get it he was said to have cancer like a month ago. Then the doctors and everyone came out and said he didn't have cancer. Now he is back to having cancer.

Does anyone around the nfl universe ever tell the truth. It's like a black hole for honesty. "Oh no somebody told the truth in the nfl. Don't worry its getting sucked into the hole as we speak and will come out the other end as a lie." "Phew"

Man I hope he drops like a rock, then the Bears can grab him like 6th round.

Angling to take advantage of this kid's drop in the draft confirms you are one sick puppy.

Hey I never said I wasn't. Besides he will be fine and like I said I feel bad for him. But hell yeah I will take advatage of a situation if it presents itself. I don't sit on my hands like some people cupcake.

Besides you forget one thing, I have stated on this board a half dozen times, I hope he drops like Carl Nicks did. With or without cancer I hope he drops. I didn't change my stance and I am not going to. Look at the timeline 12-24 weeks he won't be ready for camp. He is going to drop, end of story.

Should I be like you oh he has treatable cancer he should be the first pick in the draft.

One should treasure opportunities to just shut-up. Although abundant they are irreplaceable. This make them priceless.

You just squandered three of them.

If I shut up then that just leaves wack jobs like you running your mouths, and I can't let something that bad happen to the world. Nobody wants to hear you talk anyway. Don't get me wrong I think its really cute how a lady(that might be to strong a word) like yourself likes to talk football with the boys, but your so damn clueless it makes it hard for anyone to take you seriously, its really a disservice to your gender. Maybe you should stick with field hockey. Your misinterpretation of everything everyone says is running joke around here. You know that lithium your doctor gives you? Well he gives it to you for a reason.

By the way people were given voices for reason. However if your so big on shuting up, then shut the hell up and quit telling other people what to say and think. Swear to god I don't know why women like yourself are always trying to control what men say, or think, or do. What did your daddy not huge you enough when you where a little girl? Your always running around telling people what to say and do, always trying to control things.

By the way your logic is wrong. Shuting up is not irreplaceable, you can do something that stupid whenever you want, and like I said feel free. But a voice, you can't replace that.

Now I understand your a woman and I am the big dog around here, and you want the big dogs attention, why else would you respond to everything write if you didn't want my attention. I mean for someone who believes in shutting up you sure got a lot to say to me all the time.

Tell me exactly what was wrong with anything I said? Looks to me like someone just wanted my attention again. I gotta tell you Ms I am already taken in a big way, sorry to let you down like that.
