Report: Rice will play for Vikes

The St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that Sidney Rice will play against the Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field.

Rice had not played this season after undergoing hip surgery in August.

His return is timely since both Vikings' receivers Percy Harvin (ankle/migraines) and Bernard Berrian (groin) have been listed as "questionable."

A Sidney Rice playing recovering from an injury is a better deal for the Bears than a Percy Harvin even playing injured. Harvin seems to me to be the only Viking that could kill the Bears. Berrian has occasional flashes, but Harvin is a constant threat from anywhere on the field. He is what we wish Hester was, someone who can do it all and not occasionally seem to disappear.

Harvin and Berrian are now questionable for the game. If the ydon;t play, then basically you have a reciever with no stamina and timing coming back from an injury. Who also probably doesn't have his speed back.

No he will not play, he is not listed on the 53 man Roster. Which means he can't play Sunday.

NO he is NOT PLAYING !!!

Both NFL.com and ESPN are reporting that the Vikings missed the deadline to activate Rice....I think I'll go with them over a late report fom the St Louis Dispatch..thanks anyway

sidney wont play but other players will step up we really need a win...go back home wait for packers to come by.... To high for da horse ..They key plays are both defence or offence ... O-Line have to protect #4..n Defence has to Step up by making Good plays..So that they can give offence high Hope...
