This one is on Jay Cutler.
If he turns the ball over, the Eagles win. If he doesn't, the Bears win.
Special teams should be a big advantage for the home team.
My prediction: Bears 20, Eagles 17

Let me ask a question. If Cutler outplays Vick, does that make him a good qb? If the Bears win are they a better team than the Eagles? Are they a better team then the Packers? Not by everyone's opinion. I dont think Vick will light it up as everyone believes. Bears 30-17. Sean, no football game is ever on one player, you know that. Cutler can make it closer than it needs to be though, but so can Vick.
My favorite thng is how Eagles fans are talking all this trash, Falcon fans were doing the same thing years ago. Guess what happened. Smith has Vick's number.
Bears 27-24
I think we contain Vick better than any D has thus far thus muting the MVP talk. None the less, they will score, and the Bears O will have to make things happen. Bears 30, Eagles 23.
Lance Briggs is going to be all over Vick. Like Vick, Briggs possesses unique skills that make him arguably the best tackler in the NFL (DPY?).
Olin Kreutz is well past his prime. Running plays are consistently blown up due to penetration/domination up the middle. Kreutz is the leader and his obvious inability to block is the least discussed, yet most important factor regarding the porousness of the offensive line.
Martz is starting to move the pocket and Cutler is starting to run on 3rd down. Lovie is starting to feel comfortable with 3rd and 8. if the bears can avoid penalties and grind out some positive yardage on 1st/2nd down, then a mobile Cutler can keep possession by convert big-plays on 3rd down.
I actually have no idea how this game will go, but let's say 31-20 Bears. Perhaps the weather and the field will be factors, and Vick will fall down every time he fades back. I'm also predicting that Atlanta wiill beat Green Bay and give the Bears some breathing room before both of them lose to New England.I suspect luck will play a bigger part in this Bear game than anything else. The injury situation is also a factor, and the Bears should be able to take advantage of theirplayers' health and Philadelphia's injuries.
Lance Briggs becomes DPY candidate after neutralizing Vick with expert tackling.
A mobile Jay Cutler utilizes a moving pocket and routinely scrambles to convert 3rd and 8. Possession.
Hester.
Bears 24, Eagles 13
Over the years, the Lovie Smith coached defenses have had their way with Vick, and Lovie now has one thing he never did in years past, Julius Peppers. I say Bears 17 Eagles 10 GO BEARS!!
Bears 143, Eagnles -14. I don't know how the Eagles will score two negative touchdowns, but they will!! Because I say so!!
Bada-bing! Bada-boom! Bada-Bumstead!
Big plays will dominate as will turnovers, could be three for each team.
Bears win a close one, Bears 24 Eagles 23 with the game won in the last minutes by a turnover by the Eagles and Bears recover to run out the clock and end the game.
I also believe that Green Bay will lose in Atlanta and the 1 game lead by the Bears will loom large for the season and where they would be placed when the playoffs begin.
Hmm, Bears 24, Eagles 20.
Vick didn't look so great last week and took a pounding. I think he's starting to come back to Earth. Which begs the question...
If Vick fails to perform as well as he has in the last couple of games, will Andy Reid have him drowned, electrocuted, and/or body-slammed and then tell the Commish it "wasn't me."
High risk high reward time. Jay will throw a couple INT's this game, but will throw 3 TD's as well. Our D will have a hard time with Vick.
Bears 37 Eagles 30
If we get the Eagles who played the Skins on MNF then forget it. If we limit mistakes we have a chance.
Prediction:
Eagles 27 -- Bears 24
Sorry Sean, meant to say Neil, was reading an article by Sean before my post. I expect the Bears to win not because I am a fan, but because with our LBs we can cover Vick's running with any of our 3 LBs, and they are heady players, most teams do not have that. Same with the RB, haven't really watched him except for highlights, but I hope he is no B Westbrook. This is why, I believe Smith has had Vick's number. Smith has always had 2 or 3 LBs who can stop Vick 1 on 1.

Right on, Mike. I love how everyone so quickly forgets and forgives what an absolute piece of diaper-dung this guy is. Just cause he won before and is winning again now.
Can't wait to see the idiots in Philly reward him with a huge contract this offseason. I mean, doesn't a puppy killer deserve just that? Millions of dollars for killing dogs, lying about it, getting convicted, and now (gasp!) throwing a football? Lets get home-slice PAID for being such a stand-up guy! Alright!
Eagles 30, Bears 20
It's not so much that Michael Vick scares me, but Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin do. Jennings might play well against one, but if Tillman has one of his "slips" on the frozen, painted dirt, his WR could be in the end zone.
Bears 24-21
Michael Vick didn't make millions of dollars for fighting dogs. He lost 10's of millions of dollars, went to jail, and went bankrupt, all for fighting dogs. Michael Vick paid his debt to society and then some. {because of political correctness.} And what a sad society we live in where someone with the initials "MD" after their name can get rich off of murdering unborn babies and the guy who bought the explosives that killed over 200 HUMAN BEINGS in the 1998 embassy bombings is aquitted on all but 1 of 285 counts because this administration wanted the trials in NYC and not in a military tribunal. Where is the outcry over that? NONE. But people want to send Michael Vick to the electric chair for dog fighting. And at the end of the day, it was...dog fighting. Yes, I am an animal lover {I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 turtle that I rescued}, but an animals' life is not on the same ground as a human being's. And the saddest example of this is the fact that Michael Vick lost all of that over dog fighting and Dante` Stallworth got 30 DAYS for killing a person while driving drunk.
Do I hope Brian Urlacher drives Vick into that frozen painted dirt? Absolutely. But like Josh Hamilton, I am glad to see Michael Vick turn his life around.
24 Bears 13 Phili.
Bears defense will get it done.
Gears,
Liked the post and you are right on all counts on this post. I particularly like the turtle rescue part.
Dahli,
Thanks. I know we have differed and "debated" several times, but thank you. And yes, coming home from my step-daughters soccer game last spring he/she {haven't figured that one out yet} was crossing a state hwy and i stopped, picked him up and brought him home. Made a nice habitat for him/her. Named it "Soup".
Bears defense is stepping up really well. Go get Vick!
