ARLINGTON, Texas -- David Buehler kicked a 28-yard field goal, but the Bears' defense continued to shut down the Dallas Cowboys running game and held on to a 20-17 lead after three quarters Sunday at Cowboys Stadium.
The Bears' offense struggled, but Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs continued to come up with big plays as the defense prevented the Cowboys from further damage after Buehler's field goal.
Urlacher stopped Tashard Choice for a one-yard loss out of the wildcat and teamed with Israel Idonije to drop Felix Jones for a two-yard lass as the Bears held the Cowboys to three rushing yards on five carries in the quarter. The Cowboys have rushed for 35 yards on 18 carries through three quarters.
Briggs had a huge hit on Roy Williams on a 12-yard pass play and Henry Melton and Zack Bowman forced incomplete passes by Tony Romo with quarterback pressures.
The offense struggled throughout the quarter, getting no closer than the Cowboys 44-yard line on two possessions.

Please report more about the NICEST guy on defense...idonije!
