Compete against Nick Roach for charity

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

Compete against Nick Roach in an NCAA Tournament pool. If you beat the Bears linebacker you'll receive a signed football. Win or lose, it will benefit a good cause.

What follows is a letter from Nick himself.

On January 4th 2010, 7 year old Slade Baker died in a tragic sledding accident in his hometown of Burlington, Wisconsin, which is not too far from my hometown of Milwaukee. He left his parents, a brother and sister, and a devastated community.

A month or so ago,  I had the opportunity to attend a fundraiser to raise money for a scholarship fund in his memory.

While that raised some good money, I wanted to do more for someone who I know was a diehard Bears fan.

If you are willing, I'm looking for Fans with $10 to spare to give to the Slade Baker Memorial Scholarship Fund. This donation will give you access into my 2010 NCAA tournament Pick 'em game on CBSsports.com, which I am holding.

If you win the whole thing, I'm giving away a pair of tickets to every home Bears football game this season. If you finish above me, you could get a signed football or a signed Chicago Bears shirt from me.

Please, please share this with any and all of your friends.

Thanks.

Nick

Sean - Thanks for posting! Actually, Nick is giving away his pair of Bears Home Tickets this season. Namely: Bears vs. Packers!

He'll give a signed football or shirt to someone who finishes higher than him.

Thanks for sharing!

Steve
