As expected, safety Antrel Rolle has been released by the Cardinals, according to the Arizona Republic.
The Bears are expected to be among several teams hoping to sign Arizona's starting free safety.
If he had not been cut, Rolle would've been due a $5 million signing bonus by March 5, when his salary was to increase to $8 million per season. The Cardinals, who had hoped to sign Rolle to a long-term contract before releasing him, still hope to re-sign him.

Time to Rolle the dice, with Rolle as the next free safety for the Bears, unless of course Lovie wants him to be a nickel or kick returner.
Time to spend some money Friday and who better then to Start with Rolle.
I will be around
Who cares, as Joe F pointed out earlier the Rams lowballed Atogwe, you got to go get him, that guy is a franchise type player. Rolle is a nut job. When their was still the chance of a CBA being reached Atogwe was the best safety on the market. The Rams offered him nothing more than righ of first refusal. Unless thye have a trade in the works this guy should be the number 1 priority for the Bears.
By the way the blocking numbers for Davis with Martz in terms of blocking. He was asked to block on 250 downs. I can't imagine they will ask Olsen to do that. So either trade him or find a spot for him ahead of probably Bennett.
