Kevin Payne will return to his natural position of strong safety and Al Afalava will play free safety today for the Bears, who will face St. Louis running back Steve Jackson, as expected.
The Bears made the following players inactive:
WR Juaquin Iglesias
S Craig Steltz
CB D.J. Moore
LB Lance Briggs
DT Matt Toeaina
LT Orlando Pace
TE Desmond Clark
DE Gaines Adams
That means rookie guard Lance Louis is active for the first time this season. Adams is down for the second time since being acquired in a mid-October trade. Chris Williams will start at left tackle and Kevin Shaffer is the right tackle.
For the Rams, Adam Goldberg will start at right tackle for rookie Jason Smith, who is out with a concussion.
Inactive are:
QB Marc Bulger
RB Chris Ogbonnaya
CB Danny Gorrer
FB Mike Karney
LB Dominic Douglas
G Roger Allen
G Mark Setterstrom
RT Jason Smith

so ogunleye plays and adams sits - why am i not surprised? i don't understand any decisions this team makes
I thought we were supposed to have patience and he was getting better now he is inactive? Same old Bears no personnel clue, they don't even know what is going on among themselves.
They shot Gaines Adams ??? I know he's not playing well but, there are a lot more people on this team I would put down before him !!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOLOLOLOLOL. Thx man, some funny _ssed stuff...
Thats why Jerry gave a 2, Tampa needed to put him down but couldnt as they gave a No. 4 for him so Jerry the l;olyal Buc he is took him off Tampa's hands and shot Adams so they wouldnt have to be embarrased. Geez what a swell guy Angelo is.
Put Gaines Adams in a weight room this off season. This guy needs to bulk up and get some upper body strength. He's got some potential. But, how do the Bears give a 2 away for a project? This reminds me of Rick Mirer. The coaches in Tampa are fools and all the guy needs is the superior coaching of the Bears. Yea, right.
