The second day of the NFL draft and Round 3 is set to begin in a little less than 30 minutes.
The Bears own the fourth pick of the round and with each pick given five minutes, they will be on the clock pretty quickly. Don't rule out the possibility that general manager Jerry Angelo trades down again.
To review quickly, let's look at the picks the Bears begin the day with.
3-4-68 From Seattle
3-20-84 Traded to Denver
4-5-105 From Seattle
5-4-140 From Denver via Seattle
7-20-229 Traded to Tampa Bay
The Bears are in need of a wide receiver. They could make a run at Oklahoma's Juaquin Iglesias here with the 68th pick but that might be early for him. They might be pegging him at No. 99. I'm not sure how they feel about Louis Murphy of Florida. We've got a feeling, and this is based on nothing more than hunch, that if they use this first pick it will be on defense.
Let's sit back and watch. We'll be here all day breaking down the draft--and finally some picks--so check back often.
