Live from Halas Hall: Byrd's kid goes to Buffalo, Bears 6 picks away

| 4 Comments | No TrackBacks

Bears safeties coach Gill Byrd just saw his son Jairus Byrd, the Oregon cornerback, go to the Buffalo Bills with the 42nd pick.

Father and son will meet in the preseason when the Bears travel to Buffalo for their first preseason game.

Six picks until the Bears go on the clock. Mohamed Massaquoi, William Moore, Everette Brown and Phil Loadholt are all available. Who's your pick?

Mohamed Massaquoi, yours Brad?

Massaquoi is there and we trade. Why not get the WR. The Bears have the worst wr's in NFL history. Idiot sometimes.

Hmmmmmm? Are we trading with someone? Are we gonna sit pat at 68, 99 and...? We don't seem to have enough to offer Arizona for Boldin. Looks like it's Ogletree, Iglesias?

Clearly Angelo's trade for Cutler was a moment of madness, as he traded out of the second round whilst Massaquoi, Loadholt, Unger, Levitre, Duke Robinson, Will Moore and MICHAEL JOHNSON were still on the board. FAIL. GARGANTUAN FAIL.
