Toe injury keeps Forte sidelined

| | Comments (1) | TrackBacks (0)

Running back Matt Forte remains sidelined with his injured right toe. He is one of two players who are not suited up and practicing outside this afternoon.

Forte sat out a short practice on Tuesday in the Walter Payton Center but there are two full days of practice remaining before Monday's game--Friday and Saturday.

It's unknown how much defensive tackle Tommie Harris will do today. Wide receiver Marty Booker is expected to be limited with his broken rib.

I hope that he gets better and is cleared to play for the game because this team, as we have seen last week against the Saints desperately needs him. I don't think peterson can do it for the team like Forte and maybe Wolfe can be a fair sub, but certainly neither of them can do what forte did for us this year. Good luck Forte and go Bears!
