Booker, Rideau out for Vikings game

| 5 Comments | No TrackBacks

With cornerback Nathan Vasher on injured reserve, rookie wide receiver Earl Bennett will be active for the first time in three weeks. Bennett is needed as the backup punt returner to Devin Hester, a role Vasher previously held. Brandon Rideau was active last week instead of Bennett.

Once again, veteran running back Kevin Jones is inactive as the Bears try to get as many bodies as possible for special teams. The rest of the inactives:

3rd QB Caleb Hanie
FB Jason McKie
G Terrence Metcalf
DT Matt Toeaina
DE Ervin Baldwin

For Minnesota, right tackle Artis Hicks (elbow) is sidelined meaning the Vikings will turn to former second-round pick Ryan Cook, who was recently benched in favor of Hicks.

The Bears are who we thought they were. The coaches let the players off the hook. Weak practices, not forcen the players to watch film and poor WR play.

Alright enough of that.

The Bears need a WR that can get open, make plays and most importan RUN A ROUT!

Not that I like to look to the future in the season but the Bear need a WR that is a #1 WR. If not this game is gonna be glimps f the future.

Get a #1 WR and create double teams to get players open. Where was the TE play.

The inability for WR and TEs to get open was a big reason that the Bears couldnt make a 2 first downs in a row in the 2nd quarter.

Very bad game, very bad coachen and very bad exacution!

Dont blame Orton so much on his 2 first interception blame the widw outs. Now the 3rd INT that was all Kyles fault!

Lovie Smith should be fired. I wish the Chicago media would stop handling him with kid gloves. He is not the type of coach we need in Chicago.

It's the whole management team. From owners down to coaches, they all have no idea how to fix things. Where's angelo ( he'll get a capital A on his name when he actually does something good for the team ).
Owners...do you think this would happen in Dallas, no, because he cares about the team, not just the bottom line. I can actually hear Papa Bear screaming from the grave, DO SOMETHING !

PS. Where can i get the rose coloured glasses Lovie and his coaches have?

Really, last I checked you thought this was the Best team in the history of NFL and should win the Super Bowl this year. Also I believe you have stated time and again that all there problems are my fault. You also stated I was not a real fan because I talked bad about the Bears. Well I guess you are no longer a real fan, welcome to the club.

"Very bad game, very bad coachen and very bad exacution!"

Really but Lovie is the best coach ever how could that be, there is no way he would screw up. You yourself have stated so many a time.

"Dont blame Orton so much on his 2 first interception blame the widw outs. Now the 3rd INT that was all Kyles fault!"

Again this is why you will forever be a hommer cause you cannot see the play through your fogged up fanboy goggles.

On the first interception Orton pumped to the reciever and then threw the ball to the same reciever, the ball was under thrown and behind the reciever to boot. All the interceptions were Ortons fault, heck he admitted to the first one being all him. The next two he said just happened, whatever that means. So lets see the first one you say isn't his fault but Orton says is his fault, then you say the last one is his fault but Orton wont take blame for it. I think you and Orton need to get on the same page, while your at it bring Lovie, Turner and Babbich cause all of you seem confused by the game of football.

I stated the Bears will go 11-5.

I stated that the first 2 INT were not Ortons fault. Read the time CREIGHTON I posted that right after the game buddy.

Passion was the reason for the sudden outburt their Creighton.

I still and will always back up the Bears
