Looks like DT Adams may be active

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

We speculated earlier in the week that DT Anthony Adams might be active this week against Tampa Bay. No official word yet, but he's got his game socks on and is out on the field right now.

No Devin Hester sighting at this point but we have seen Bucs QB Brian Griese visiting with his friends on the Bears. Stay turned and we'll update the inactive list when we get it.

well looks like Hester is sided lined today. A.P. will suit up in his place.

I say its a good move. Let the biggest playmaker that the Bears have rest and heal.

As much as I would like to see AP suit up. We have to sit eight players to get to 45 for game day. We are thin at Safety and I don't see how we can suit up 4 RBs. If Manning gets hurt or if Brown or Payne go down we will be in a world of hurt.

So if Peterson suits then Wolfe sits, which is possible. But Wolfe gives them a pass receiving RB that Peterson is not. Also if Peterson is special team player we all like then why was LaRocque (sp?) activated?

If they suit up Bennett for punts to save Vasher then AP is again most likely sitting. Now if Rashed (sp) Davis is fielding punts then maybe AP plays. Still eight need to sit.

I figure the eight that sit are: Haine; Williams, C; Hester; Toeania (sp); Steltz; Buenning; Peterson (or Wolfe); and Bradley (or Bennett if they don't think he can field punts).
