Head butt reaches into Ogunleye's wallet

| 3 Comments | No TrackBacks

The league dipped into the wallet of Adewale Ogunleye this week, fining the defensive end $5,000 for the 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty he picked up late in the fourth quarter Sunday at Indianapolis. Ogunleye was engaged in a little jawing with Colts tight end Gijon Robinson and punctuated the exchange with a head butt, drawing a flag right in front of referee John Parry.

That was a stupid thing to do but, hey, if that's what it takes to keep racking up stats like he is then I'm all for it.

It wasn't really a head butt. He more or less just got up in Robinson's face.

why fine him??? Its not like he head butt the guy with the guys helmet off.I think the 15 yard penalty was enough
