Cornerback Zack Bowman, the fifth-round pick from Nebraska, has rejoined the Bears after being signed to the practice squad.
Bowman was waived on Tuesday to make room for guard Dan Buenning, who the Bears traded for to bolster the offensive line.

Hey Brad. You really stay on top of things. I just left your competition's web site and they are still sellin old news. By the way, what is your take on Harris' knee? Just lettin him rest up or something more serious. Also, Rosenbugupmyrump thinks there is a big drop off at DT after Tommie. I think the Bears have three guys after Tommie that would start on other NFL squads. What do you think?
BRAD SAYS: Harris has had a little swelling in his knee but he's routinely gotten practice time off the last few seasons. Harris has practiced the last two weeks, just in a limited role. I think Tommie Harris is the best defensive player the Bears have and there is a major dropoff from him to every other tackle on the roster. He's one of the very best at his craft. Thus, the cautionary approach. Harris will start Sunday.
