Rookie guard Chester Adams received more good news late Friday when he received a second medical opinion on his sprained left knee.
The seventh-round pick confirmed he only has an MCL sprain and should be able to recover in four to six weeks. That goes along with what the Bears' medical staff said from the start.
Adams started training camp on the non-football injury list because of a stomach issue, but worked hard when he got back on the field. He stayed after practice most days to do running to keep in shape.
If he receives an injury settlement, Adams will have to wait until the period for which he is paid to pass before potentially returning to the team. More news on this later.
