More cuts: Fullback Polite informed he will be let go

| | Comments (3) | TrackBacks (0)

Fullback Lousaka Polite, who played well in preseason, has been informed the Bears will let him go.

Polite was with the team all last season and dressed for the final five games of 2007.

He had a solid role on special teams but his departure makes it clear the club will go with one fullback in veteran Jason McKie and carry four running backs--Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson, Garrett Wolfe and newcomer Kevin Jones.

Check back as we work to learn more news.

just making room for Hanie.

Good move by management. Polite only runs faster, catches better, breaks tackles better, gets low to the ground better, picks up blocks better and carries the ball better than I've ever seen McKie do.

Mike stop it, Angelo would tell you if he screwed up. He would tell you if he was wrong in cutting polite, he knows what he is doing. As Angelo ever admitted to being wrong?? Wait scratch that, he xcrewed up again. Go ahead and rant Mike, let it all out.
