Manning Jr. officially done

Ricky Manning Jr. had his contract terminated this afternoon by the Bears.

Because he is a vested veteran, he is free to sign with any club and chances are good he will have a job in the next week.

Here is another atrocious decision by the Bears. We gave up a 3rd round pick to sign RFA Manning. We traded a good safety last year for a 5th round pick. Then We draft two more DB's this year - when we have no QB, WR, or OL depth. Now we cut Manning in order to save a little money?

The Bears are bad because they keep making poor decisions. It's that simple.

The Bears are bad because the Halas's/McCaskey's were cheap; are cheap; and always will be cheap to the point that they squeeze the nickle until the buffalo jumps off! Wake up to this fact of life Bears Fans, if you haven't already.
