Defensive end Baldwin to return; Ricky lands in St. Louis

Slow going on the practice squad front right now.

Defensive end Ervin Baldwin, the seventh-round pick from Michigan State, has agreed to sign with the Bears and join the practice squad.

The club is believed to be bringing back tight end Fontel Mines also, although nothing is official.

Also, the Bears will see Ricky Manning Jr. this season. The veteran cornerback signed with the St. Louis Rams. The Bears travel to face the Rams on Nov. 23.
