A source close to cornerback Trey Brown said he will be placed on waivers. Brown has been getting work at nickel back and the undrafted free agent from UCLA could be a candidate to return on the practice squad.
Also, rookie fifth-round pick Zack Bowman has made the team, a source close to him reported. Bowman was on the bubble and has been informed he will be on the team.

I hope he makes the practice squad. Something tells me this kid has those intangibles that make players. Watch, he's gonna make it somewhere and have a nose for the ball, ala Mike Brown. It's an uncanny ability some guys just have and he has the hands to make it work. Gut feeling.
