Linebacker Joey LaRocque, the seventh-round draft pick from Oregon State, is believed to be on his way out.

LaRocque showed steady improvement as a special teams performer during training camp and preseason and is a strong candidate to return to the practice squad provided he clears waivers.

The waiver wire will be released Sunday at 11 a.m. and players can be signed to the practice squad after that.
