Bears adding FB Davis to practice squad

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

The Bears are expected to sign fullback Jason Davis, the Illinois product, to the practice squad, a source close to the player said.

Davis, 5-10, 245 pounds, spent much of the last three years with the Philadelphia Eagles. He suffered a fractured hand and a torn ACL during training camp as a rookie in 2006 and spent the year on injured reserve. He spent last season on the practice squad with the Eagles and was one of the club's final cuts on Saturday.

That makes two of the eight spots on the practice squad filled.
