Comfortable with Metcalf, Beekman or St. Clair at left guard?

The Bears are five picks away from being on the clock again with the 158th pick in the fifth round.

There are five guards on the board that could step in and have the chance to compete, maybe down the road a little.

Oregon State's Roy Schuening, UConn's Donald Thomas, USC's Drew Radovich, Tennessee's Eric Young and Arkansas' Robert Felton.

But it looks right now that the team will be selecting between Terrence Metcalf, Josh Beekman, a fourth-round pick last season, and John St. Clair. St. Clair is a solid swing lineman who can play every spot on the line, including center.

These are the same guards we were talking about in the fourth round. Metcalf is the first man to get a shot at winning the job.

Stay tuned. The pick is coming in a short bit.

They should take Nicks with the 158th or QB Ryan O'hara.

NO Metcalf should be on the same train Angelo takes out of here!!

Absolutely no! St Clair maybe and the same goes for Beekman. I am also not sold on Roberto Garza at all. He should be a backup and not a starter.

If we do not take anymore lineman then our line will be horrible and yes QB fans we will be drafting one pretty high next year.

The Bears need to make significant upgrades in the line or you are looking at a 6-10 ball club.

Ummm no, not cofortable with 2 bad career backups and a second year guy who wasn't allowed to dress last year because he was so bad. But hey we got a new TE.

what the heck is JA thinking? TE? come on jerry!!! we dont need a tight end!!! i with everyone else that thinks these guards are just reserves!!! oh yeah, where the hell is the QB? only playing with 2 this year? i figured you would pick one up in the 4th round, but nope. so i thought they have to in the 5th.....and still nope!!! hey JA, if brennen still around when you get to pick again, you better grab him. oh yeah, what was the deal of trading down, what did they get out of it?

When Creighton said the offense was fixed it sounded kinda funny but it's not even funny anymore. WTF!! We need 2 OL from this draft.
I like the first four picks but I am not comfortable the OG mentioned...what were their names again??
