| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

The Bears continued to get business done at the combine as tight end Desmond Clark has agreed to a two-year extension that will keep him in place through 2010.

Clark has been durable in five seasons with the Bears, and was to enter the final year of the $9 million, six-year contract he signed in 2003.

Over the last two seasons his 13.2 yards per catch (89 receptions for 1,171 yards) is highest among NFL tight ends.

The Bears and Jerry Angelo have done a great job this week of bringing back two great football players in Rex and Dez. Desmond is a class act person and player all around. He's the kind of guy you wish you could have a whole team full of. Real Bear fans need to do two things: Stay patient and let Jerry work. The next few weeks and months will help to determine whether we can get back to the super bowl and win it this time! Go Bears!!
