Bears confirm Miller let go

| 3 Comments | No TrackBacks

The Bears confirmed RT Fred Miller has been released.

He was due a $500,000 roster bonus on March 4 and had a base salary of $4 million for 2008.

Now more than ever you know they will be eyeing an offensive tackle in the first two rounds of the draft, perhaps with the 14th pick of the first round.

Ding, Dong Fred Miller's Gone!

There is a GOD!

Now, let's sign Carolina's OT Jordan Gross, Pittsburgh's OG John Faneca or OT Max Starks (Ross Browner's son).

After the Bears sign one of them, they should draft a OG (Virginia's Brandon Albert, USC's Chilo Rachal or Drew Radovich) and/or an OT (USC's Sam Baker, Boise State's Ryan Clady, or Pittsburgh's Jeff Otah)

Right on Butch let me add a few more Chester Adams Georgia 6'4" 335,OG, Will Arnold, LSU OG, 6'5" 330, tackles: Anthony Collins, Kansas, 6'6" 310 OT and Michael Oher, Ole Miss, 6'5" 325 OT. Faneca is ok but that's the same trap he is going to be 30+ thats short term I like the Starks and Gross idea they are younger, But at least two on the first day should be a must. Jerry keep you eye on the prize protect the Qb and wins will come. Look what happened to the great Tom Brady with little or no protection.
