With the 10th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft ...

It's never too soon to start talking NFL draft.

With two games remaining on the schedule, the Bears are currently in position to own the 10th pick. They are tied with the Cincinnati Bengals at 5-9, but based on strength of schedule the Bengals would be in the slot ahead of them.

No. 10 would be the highest draft pick GM Jerry Angelo has used with the Bears with the exception of RB Cedric Benson, the fourth pick in 2005. The Bears held the No. 4 pick in 2003 before dealing it to the New York Jets.

The 10th pick this past April got the Houston Texans defensive tackle Amobi Okoye, the youngster from Louisville. He was the NFL defensive rookie of the month in September, and Okoye came at a price tag of $12.8 million guaranteed. The maximum value of his five-year deal is $17.6 million.

Say you're in the market for a quarterback? Join the club.

Miami, the New York Jets, Atlanta, Baltimore and Kansas City are all currenty slotted ahead of the Bears and could be in the market for a passer.

Go ahead, make your selection with the 10th pick or submit your mock of the top 10 picks.

Does 5-11 get us Jake Long, tackle Michigan. How about Colt Brennan.

Offensive line or running back, though 10 might be too early to select an RB, the Bears may have to wait until the second round for one. Michael Oher, Ryan Clady or Jeff (?) Otah would be ideal in the first round. If Rashard Mendenhall or Felix Jones is available in round 2, even better.

No need to spend a first round pick on a QB or RB. We have both and if need be can find something through free agaency. But please, please, please!!!!!!! Get some good O-linemen!!! And some safeties!!!!!!!!

No brainer...trade out of that pick...down to 18, 19, or 20...Texans, Redskins, and Titans could all look to move up...

In that case...RB..Jonathan Stewart..but...If he's gone..start collecting OT's...gotta pick LT first...Sam Baker

There are a lot of good tackles in this draft...I would like Mike McGlynn in the second round if we get Sam Baker in the first

In other scenarios on where to draft the OT's and why..lol, I'm not typing all that

Sign turner from sandiego for runing back help. Sign the guard from the steelers. keep groseman, trade down we need a tackle, safty, runing back and linebacker and quarterback in the draft..

trade up, and how many (not mental) mistakes has Kyle
made? 1, that says a lot about Kyle, he may not be much
and he isn't the answer, but if he can do that, why couldn't
rex? or griese? so, you get mcnabb, draft OL, then, fill
needs at rb, wr, safety, need future MLB, and qb of future
get rid of Halas grandson, Angelo, and hire Ditka
no brainer, brainer
