| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

CB Nathan Vasher is inactive for the ninth consecutive game with his groin injury. Vasher practiced three days this last week and barring a setback could return Thursday at Washington.

As expected, John St. Clair will start at right tackle for Fred Miller. Trumaine McBride will start again at cornerback in place of Vasher. And as WBBM reported Brandon McGowan will start at strong safety for Adam Archuleta.

Also inactive for the Bears are:

QB Kyle Orton (third QB)
LB Nick Roach
LB Darrell McClover
G Josh Beekman
WR Mike Hass
DT Antonio Garay

WR Plaxico Burress will play for the Giants with ankle and knee injuries.

Inactive for the Giants are:

WR Steve Smith
QB Jared Lorenzen (third QB)
RB Brandon Jacobs
S Gibril Wilson
CB Aaron Ross
OT Adam Koets
G Kevin Boothe
DT Russell Davis

For the Giants, Kevin Dockery replaces Aaron Ross at left cornerback.

Michael Johnson replaces Gibril Wilson at free safety.

Derrick Ward will start at running back for Reuben Droughns.

Why not have Vasher sit out the rest of the season? He can`t light a fire under this team from his position,by now he`s lost any incentives that would build his salary up.
So why risk him.
