From the looks of the stretching exercises at the beginning of Thursday's practice, DT Tommie Harris may try to do a little work on his injured left knee. The Bears are practicing in the Walter Payton Center, though, and the team has been cautious using him on artificial surface.
LB Lance Briggs, who missed Wednesday with a knee injury, also looked to be back to work along with CB Ricky Manning Jr., who was out ill Wednesday.
But Lovie Smith's optimism a day earlier for the rest of the injured bunch might have been just that. We expected CB Nathan Vasher (groin) to remain sidelined, which he was, but WR Bernard Berrian (toe), FB Jason McKie (foot) and CB Trumaine McBride (hip) were all sidelined.
Check back later for more details.
