WLB Lance Briggs recorded a career-high 19 tackles in Sunday's victory at Green Bay.
Following review of film by coaches, he was credited with 15 solo stops and four assists. His previous career high was 16 last season at Arizona.
Despite missing 1 1/2 games, Briggs now has 45 tackles and trails team leader Brian Urlacher by only four.
With each big game, Briggs takes a step closer to his third consecutive Pro Bowl appearance and the big pay day he's been patientlty awaiting.

What Game Sunday Night....Defense kept enough pressure on Brett Farve to cause him to hurry and make mistakes.
Lance Briggs is a special player.....This team should not lose him because of money......If you can pay Benson all the millions
he is making for 2.5yds.avg...Then please pay Briggs for all his game saving tackles.
Great game on the road.
Go Bears!
Can't believe the Bears coaches didn't post Urlacher with 22...
