CB Nathan Vasher will miss his fifth straight game with a partially torn groin muscle.
He is listed as inactive along with QB Kyle Orton, RB Garrett Wolfe, S Brandon McGowan, FB Lousaka Polite, LB Darrell McClover, G Josh Beekman and WR Mike Hass.
DT Anthony Adams remains in the starting lineup with Darwin Walker playing in a backup role after missing the last two games with a sprained left knee.
That means CB Ade Jimoh is active after sitting out last week's game. He will help on special teams.
For the Lions, QB Dan Orlovsky, RB Tatum Bell, CB Dovonte Edwards, S Idrees Bashir, G Blaine Saipaia, G Manny Ramirez, DE Ikaika Alama-Francis and DE Kalimba Edwards.
Honestly, does it matter if Nathan Vasher returns?! WHY is it SO hard for this team to have a reliable, consistent quarterback? Is Vasher's return so incredibly important for such an impotent defense that has forgotten how to tackle and has lost its drive? WHY can't this team find 1) a reliable, PROVEN quarterback; and 2) a reliable, PROVEN offensive coordinator? Perhaps if the defense wasn't on the field for 75% of the game, Vasher's return would actually mean something! But when you have the lamest excuse for an offense year after year after year, you can't wish for the return of one guy to turn the season around.
