Friday practice update: Briggs & Tillman on field

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

The Bears got a boost on the practice field Friday at Halas Hall as LB Lance Briggs (hamstring) and CB Charles Tillman returned to practice.

While it's not a given they will play Sunday at Lambeau Field, it's certainly an encouraging sign as both have been out since the Dallas game.

RB Adrian Peterson (calf) was also dressed and ready to go in practice.

Still out were LT John Tait (right ankle), who will likely be replaced by John St. Clair, and CB Nathan Vasher (groin). LB Brian Urlacher sat out as well, something that has become a Friday routine.

The Packers are also talking about injuries in their secondary, but the Bears have lost so many play-makers that their depth may be all that salvages the season. about all that would raise my spirits at this stage is the Bears making enough interceptions to give Favre that record too. Is anyone else as sick of hearing about Favre as I am?
